Welcome to Sosei Aikido Kyokai – Iaido Study Group
Sosei Aikido Kyokai was formed to fill a need in the community and keep the dream of Fumio Toyoda Shihan alive by making Aikido available for everyone.
Along with Aikido training, Sosei Aikido Kyokai supports its own Iaido Study Group which meets three times per week. Iaido is the practice of Japanese Swordsmanship. It was Fumio Toyoda Shihan who introduced us to several forms of Iaido at an Aikido Instructors Seminar training session that inspired us to begin our training in this art.
The director of Sosei Aikido Kyokai is Roberto (Bob) Garza.
A Center for the Martial Arts – Soseikan Dojo, is home to Sosei Aikido Kyokai and Sosei Aikido Kyokai Iaido Study Group, is located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, in the Village of Worth Illinois.
